The app is made for children

Bible Time with LJ is a Bible study app for children ages 5 to 8, used with a parent or caregiver. We built it to collect nothing from the children who use it, and nothing from you.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no sign-up forms, no chat, no comments and no social features. It does not ask for a child's name, age, photo, location, contacts or any other personal information, and it does not request access to the camera, microphone, photos or location.

Progress stays on the device

The app remembers which lessons are finished so your child can see their stars. That record is stored only on your phone or tablet. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.

No ads, no tracking

The app shows no advertising and contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It does not share any information with third parties, because it has none to share.

Grown-up areas

The Family Talk cards and the For Grown-Ups page sit behind a parent gate, a simple question a young child can't easily answer. Any link that would leave the app is kept behind that gate.

Bible text

Scripture in the app is from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain.

Children's privacy laws

Because the app collects no personal information, there is nothing for a parent to review or delete under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or similar laws. If we ever change how the app works, we will update this policy before the change reaches the app, and we will not collect a child's information without a parent's verifiable consent.
